Ruashi is a long-term, phased, copper and cobalt producing project, situated in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which produces a copper/cobalt concentrate treated at the Sable Processing Facility in Zambia.
The Ruashi project comprises Phase I, mining and treatment of the Ruashi/Etoile stockpiles, and Phase II, mining of the Ruashi openpit orebodies. Additionally, Ruashi Mining has entered into an agreement with Gecamines covering three permit areas: Musonoi, Sokoroshe 1 and Sokoroshe 2, where drilling and interpretation continues.
